Secretary General of Iran’s Ahlul Bayt World Assembly, Ayatollah Reza Ramezani, has slammed assassination of top physicist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh calling on world community to stand against state terrorism.
Ayatollah Ramezani, in his message issued on Sunday, regretted assassination of senior nuclear scientist and stressed once the international community does not stand against state terrorism, it will plague the entire world.
He said, “The vicious measure, on anniversary of another nuclear scientist and on the eve of the first anniversary of senior commanders, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Mohandes, is in fact the reminder of cowardly-committed crime by terrorist US regime in Baghdad Airport.”
The cleric condemned “organized state terrorism” to go not only against all human regulations but also all international laws respected by people.
“The more blame would be for perpetrators only when the world knows that the dirty hands of enemies have eliminated scientists who endeavored to alleviate man’s sufferings” said Ayatollah Ramezani and added,” The latest achievement of our assassinated scientist was coronavirus test kit.” Senior scholar urged the world communities, religious leaders, human rights advocates, scientists and the liberal media to stand against a plague worse than the coronavirus by any possible means.
“Silence of the authorities and passive stance of rights groups will embolden the terrorism to plague the entire world” warned Ayatollah Ramezani.
Secretary General of Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly issued the message in the wake of the funeral ceremony for top nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh assassinated by a group of gunmen in Tehran suburbs on Friday.
